Types Of Commercial Dehumidifiers

1. Industrial Portable Dehumidifier:
This type of unit has wheels and a push handle, which makes these units easy to transport from one place to another place easily. These types of industrial dehumidifier units have a built-in pump for flushing condensate water. There is a limitation of capacity for these types of units. The maximum capacity of this type of unit is limited to a maximum of 120 to 130 liters per day. Construction sites, flood restoration work, pharmaceuticals room, etc., prefer this type of unit.
2. Floor Mount Dehumidifier:
A floor mount dehumidifier is used for large spaces. The capacities of such a type of industrial dehumidifier start from 100 to 1000 liters per day. These types of units are commonly used as warehouse dehumidifiers to protect the stored furniture from high humidity. These units are designed with high airflow to cover large spaces. 3. Duct Dehumidifier:

A duct-type dehumidifier can be connected in parallel or in series with the air conditioner duct. Also, it can be installed in space space-suspended form ceiling without connecting to any AC duct. Generally, this unit is supplied with a wall mount controlled to switch on/off the unit and set the required humidity level.
Types Of Dehumidifiers Based On Working Principle
On the basis of working principles, dehumidification systems are divided into the following two types:
1. Refrigerant Dehumidifier:
This is the most commonly used portable commercial dehumidifier which works on the condensation principle. These type of units has less initial and operating cost. It consists of a compressor, an evaporation coil, and a condensation coil. Dehumidifier sucks wet humid air and cool it to due point where humidity of air condensate into physical water.
This water is stored in a Tank built in a dehumidifier, or it is flushed out with the help of a pump. Dry air they pushed out from the dehumidifier into space. This process is repeated continuously until the humidity level on the intake air reaches to set level.
2. Desiccant Dehumidifier:
At lower temperatures refrigerant dehumidifier can not work due to the formation of ice on its coil due to the low temperature of the air. Hence, in such a situation, desiccant-type dehumidifiers are used. These units consist of a rotating desiccant wheel that can easily adsorb humidity from the air.
Intake air passes through this desiccant wheel, which in turn leaves its humidity in the wheel, and dry air flushes out. The other end of the wheel, subjected to hot air to dry this wheel, and this humid air is throughout the environment.
